Donna L. Salters is a mother, author, Realtor, entrepreneur, community leader, and woman of unwavering faith whose journey is a testimony of resilience, determination, and God's grace. Her life has not always unfolded according to plan, but through broken relationships, single motherhood, and seasons of uncertainty, she discovered that even life's most difficult chapters can become part of something beautiful. As Donna says, "Beautiful in His Time!"
One of Donna's proudest accomplishments is the legacy she has built through her children. From raising her family in low-income housing to watching both of her children become educated professionals with master's degrees, her journey reflects the power of perseverance, sacrifice, and faith. Along the way, Donna built a professional career working with state agencies and universities, established herself as a Realtor, and pursued entrepreneurship through the licensing of collegiate products.
Her commitment to making a difference extends into the community. Donna serves on the Board of Directors of the Havana Community Development Corporation, supporting efforts to restore her alma mater, the former Havana Northside High School. She is also involved with the Havana History and Heritage Society and Shade Tobacco Museum, preserving the community's rich cultural history and the legacy of the Planters Exchange. A member of Leadership Gadsden Class #7, Donna also serves on the Finance Committee at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Havana, Florida.
Today, Donna brings together her experiences as a mother, professional, entrepreneur, and woman of faith through God’s Girlfriend: A Story of Faith, Strength and Becoming. Her message is rooted in the belief that life's disappointments do not diminish our worth, and our past does not determine our future. Through her writing and growing platform, she encourages women to release what no longer serves them, embrace who they are becoming, and discover a deeper relationship with God.
